Presenter:
Mr. Tom Szaky is not only the founder and CEO of TerraCycle®, but he has also authored several books on the subjects of garbage and recycling. He created, produced and starred in TerraCycle’s reality show, “Human Resources” which aired three 10-episode seasons on Pivot, and is syndicated in over 20 foreign markets and is also available to stream on Amazon and iTunes. He also writes for media outlets such as GreenBiz, Meaningful Business and Packaging Europe.

Mr. Szaky serves on numerous boards including the D'Addario Foundation, World Economic Forum and The Ellen McArthur Foundation and on the Corporate Advisory Council of the Product Stewardship Institute, just to name a few.

In 2019, TerraCycle®, along with 25 top consumer products companies and retailers, launched a new circular reuse platform called Loop that enables consumers to purchase some of their favorite household and food products in durable, reusable packaging. Loop is a key step in helping to end the epidemic of waste that is caused by 'single use' consumption. Loop is available in France, Canada, the UK, Japan and the United States.

Mr. Szaky and TerraCycle have received hundreds of social, environmental and business awards and recognition from a range of organizations including the United Nations, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Fortune Magazine, Time Magazine, World Economic Forum and the Schwab Foundation.

And in his spare time, Mr. Szaky is a frequent global lecturer including regular appearances at NYU Stern School of Business, Princeton University, Wharton School of Business, Harvard Business School and Yale University.
