Oral Ceramides & Digalactosyl Diglycerides (DGDG) for Skin Hydration & Age-Related Appearance Study
Monocentric, double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized study; 60 healthy females (aged 30-60 years) with dry skin and signs of skin aging; 30 mg/day for 60 days.
Results: Significant improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, and smoothness, along with reductions in skin roughness, wrinkledness, and transepidermal water loss (TEWL).* Benefits were noticeable as early as 15 days and continued throughout the study, suggesting that WPLC (wheat polar lipids complex) is a promising supplement for enhancing skin health and combating aging-related skin concerns.*
Wheat Lipid Supplementation for Dry & Aging Skin Study
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel study; 72 healthy women (aged 30-60 years); 30 mg/day for 8 weeks.
Results: Significant improvement in skin moisturization, elasticity and smoothness as early as two weeks after the beginning of supplementation with persistent increase throughout the eight weeks of the study.* Significant reduction of water loss, roughness and wrinkle depth as early as two weeks, this reduction is maintains throughout the eight weeks of the study.* Same significant results on all these parameters were observed in the subgroup of postmenopausal women.*
Glutathione & Skin Effects Study
Randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study; 60 healthy South Asian volunteers (aged 19-22 years); 250 mg twice daily for 4 weeks (twice the suggested dose in this product).
Results: Significant statistical difference in reduction of melanin index vs. baseline at end of the study for all tested area (face, sun-exposed forearm, sun protected forearm).* There was a greater reduction in melanin index in the glutathione group as compared to placebo on all sun-exposed areas.* There was a significantly smaller number of UV spots developed in subjects receiving glutathione vs. placebo.*

Open-label, single-arm pilot study; 30 healthy South Asian volunteers (Fitzpatrick skin types IV or V, aged 22-42 years); 500 mg/day lozenge to melt in mouth before swallowing for 8 weeks (twice the suggested dose in this product).
Results: Significant statistical difference in reduction of melanin index vs. baseline at end of the study for both sun-exposed, and sun-protected skin.*
