Easy to prepare and irresistibly delicious, this nutty banana bread, with its hint of cinnamon and nutmeg, is a surefire way to satisfy your sweet tooth while keeping healthy eating in mind. Made with ripe bananas, Slender Zero™ Organic Allulose Sweetener, and a generous handful of pecans, this recipe offers a lower calorie twist on the traditional banana bread (thanks to allulose, a sugar alternative), an ideal for a wholesome breakfast or a cozy afternoon snack.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ½ cups very ripe bananas (about 3), mashed (1 1/2 cups)
2 large eggs at room temperature
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
½ cup chopped Pecans, Raw & Unsalted
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF and line a loaf pan with parchment paper overlapping sides. In a large mixing bowl whisk together flour, Allulose sweetener, cane sugar, baking powder, sea salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract.
  3. Stir wet ingredients into dry until just incorporated. Do not over mix.
  4. Fold in chopped pecans.
  5. Pour into prepared pan and smooth evenly. Bake for 55-60 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before lifting by parchment paper and removing from loaf pan. Cool at room temperature for 30 minutes before slicing.
