Meet NOW Ambassador and Olympic Swimmer Bruno Fratus
2:11
My name is Bruno Fratus, and I’m a professional swimmer from Brazil. Before becoming an Olympian, I started just like any other “hyperactive” kid, trying pretty much every single sport out there – from soccer to surf. But somehow, swimming was the sport I was best at. It didn’t take too long for me to fall in love with it and develop a highly competitive instinct.
Racing during my high school years was a lot of fun. As I was becoming a stronger athlete, I was also learning values such as commitment, team work and discipline. The sport of swimming made me who I am today.
So in 2007, at the age of 17, it all started to get more serious. I moved from my home town to pursue the dream of becoming a professional athlete and Olympian. A few years and yards later, between struggle and success, I was blessed to participate in two Olympic Games: London 2012 and Rio 2016. I’m now honored to support NOW as I focus on my next feat, the 2020 Games.
NOW products have played a key role in my training routine, and now as an Ambassador, I’m excited to train harder and race even faster!
