Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Jim has been a member of the NOW management team since 1995. Jim possesses a unique combination of an education in Food Science and decades of experience in the design and management of food manufacturing and distribution operations, a rare confluence of skills and experience that fits perfectly with NOW’s mission and long-term goals. As a farm boy from Indiana, Jim was raised on, and knows the importance of hard work, and his dedication to the strong values system that the NOW brand represents has been a big part of NOW’s success.
Founder and Industry Legend
There are industry luminaries, and then there’s Elwood Richard. As the founder of NOW Foods and its president for 30+ years, it’s hard to find another individual who’s had a more profound impact on the natural products industry. Elwood grew NOW from a small supply house for his retail stores into an industry leader with more than 1,400 products and millions of loyal and satisfied customers.
Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing
Practically born into the natural products industry, Dan Richard, son of founder Elwood Richard, has helped grow NOW from a small soy products manufacturer into one of the largest natural products manufacturers in the United States today. Dan is still heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of NOW as the company's domestic sales manager, including oversight of International Sales and Marketing.
