Sip on These Functional DIY Beverages*
Helping your body feel good and perform optimally should be an important part of your self-care routine. So give it a boost with these simple and delicious DIY beverages created by RDN DJ Blatner, featuring functional ingredients like matcha (uplifting), effer-hydrate (hydrating), and ashwagandha (helps the body adapt to temporary normal stress*) that you can sip on any time!
Add chlorella to water & stir until combined. Add effer-hydrate tab, let it dissolve, and then stir in lemon juice and ice. Optional: Garnish with a lemon slice.
Heat milk in a small pot until almost boiled. In a large mug, add contents of the ashwagandha capsule, honey, nut butter, and cinnamon. Pour in about 4 tablespoons of the hot milk and mix vigorously until smooth. Stir in the rest of the heated milk.
Put ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Use more or less ice to change consistency. Top with cacao nibs for added crunch.
