Madeline Dolente
Hello, I am Madeline
In high school, I started training in the gym in between soccer and lacrosse seasons, where I discovered a love for weight lifting and group exercise classes. I began teaching group exercise and personal training at a gym owned by Ric Flair my freshman year of college and wrote a column for my school newspaper called Getting Fit with Miss Madeline. I also ran Cross Country for my college and received several awards. Upon graduating, I had the opportunity to direct the Group Exercise program at the leading weight loss camp in the world at that time. Here was where I learned so much about the psychology behind weight issues and had the opportunity to work with Behavior Modification specialists.
In 1998, I began directing Group Exercise programs at several gyms in the Washington, DC. Área. During this time, I obtained numerous fitness certifications and brought new programming to these gyms. In 2003 I incorporated Madfitness and began creating signature fitness programs and was featured on CNN. ABC, NBC, and in magazines and newspapers.
My passion for learning and fitness has led me to obtain 86 fitness certifications. My desire to travel and share has enabled me to create programs in gyms, universities, and resorts throughout both hemispheres of the world.
During my childhood, my Mother was a big advocate of juicing, natural foods, and vitamins. In college, I worked with our cafeteria team to offer healthier options. I have worked with Dieticians and Nutritions around the world. I’ve spent weeks in different countries throughout Asia, Australia, and Europe learning about cleansing, raw foods, and vegan and vegetarian programs. I became a Certified Nutritionist. Over the last few years, I have focused on fueling myself to optimize my performance as an obstacle course racer and creating a strong and defined body as a fitness model. In my spare time, I’m running up mountain trails, rock climbing, competing in Dekafit, Crossfit, Duathalons, and Spartan Races on the weekends. My love for the outdoors led me to complete 28 marathons, Ultras, trail races, duathalons, and 125 Spartan Races. Most recently I qualified to represent Team Australia in the Olympic Pre Trials for Obstacle Course Racing.
I also teach Group Exercise classes, Personal Train the U.S. Marines, Coach on Lifestyle Goals, Teach Fitness Certifications, and am a Motivational Coach. I have had the opportunity to create programming throughout gyms, resorts, and universities throughout the world. Most recently, I’ve grown my online fitness business, launched the MADFITNESS app, and created fitness programming in New Zealand.
