Blemish Clear MoisturizerCassie Sumfest
Hi there, I’m Cassie Sumfest
To give some background, I’ll start at the beginning. I was the classic younger sister who followed my older sister everywhere - and that included all her field hockey events. One day in 2009, her team needed another player, I jumped in, and I instantly fell in love with the sport.
I went on to become a four-time all-state player at Lewisburg High School, two-time captain, and the district and school’s Most Outstanding Female Athlete. To challenge myself and pursue my dreams at the highest level, I traveled three hours back and forth to train with WC Eagles. That commitment helped launch my pathway with the U.S. Junior National Teams, where I progressed through the U-17, U-19, and U-21 levels.
I continued my career at the University of North Carolina, where I helped lead the Tar Heels to three NCAA Championships, including back-to-back undefeated seasons in 2018 and 2019. In my senior year, I served as team captain and earned First-Team All-ACC, ACC All-Tournament Team, NFHCA All-Region, and All-ACC Academic honors.
In 2021, I earned my first cap with the senior U.S. Women’s National Team and went on to compete across outdoor, indoor, and Hockey5s formats on the international stage. In 2024, I was selected as a provisional athlete for the Paris Olympic Games.
Off the field, I’m grounded by my family - they’re my biggest support system and the heart behind everything I do. I love painting, spending time outdoors, and creating nourishing recipes that make me feel strong, healthy, and inspired.
