Walnut Creek, California

kelsey withrow running inlineHi! My name is Kelsey Withrow and I’m a professional Triathlete residing in Walnut Creek, California. I grew up in Seattle, Washington, where I swam and ran competitively all the way through High School. I ended up swimming one year for a Division 1 College in Michigan but moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to live and train for Triathlon at the Olympic Training Center. I spent six years there as a part of the USA Triathlon National Team in hopes of qualifying for the Olympics. Unfortunately, I spent a good chunk of those years injured and decided to move up in distance and start racing half Ironman/Ironman.

Within a few months of training, I was hit by a truck on a training ride in Santa Cruz, California, and was airlifted to Stanford ICU where I spent the next week. The doctors told me I would never compete again but I refused to accept that. The next few years were filled with ups and downs, depression, and anxiety, but I eventually pulled myself out of it with the help of my new coach/boyfriend.

Fast forward three years and I am now a 3x Ironman 70.3 Champion and have been on the Ironman podium over 18 times. I want to show people what is possible when you refuse to give up no matter how bad the odds are.

NOW® products have helped play a major role in making sure my workouts are properly fueled and I’m so excited to be an ambassador.
