People Magazine’s Half Their Size, Fitness Competitor, Model

katie bolden holding trophyI’m a 31-year-old wife and mother, fitness competitor, blogger, model, personal trainer and weight loss coach-in-training that has lost 150 pounds after a series of health scares, which included going temporarily blind in one eye. My story has been featured and shared all around the world on websites, magazines, television, social media, and various international news outlets.

My life changed when I was fortunate enough to take part in People Magazine's very popular annual “Half Their Size” issue in January 2018. This, along with several life changing and amazing opportunities, opened up a whole new world that I never thought I could be a part of. Shy by nature, I was told by friends and family to break out of my shell and try some things, but always had a tough time doing so with anxiety and depression. Eventually, after shedding 150 pounds, and gaining confidence and self-esteem in the process, I ventured into the world of modeling. I also began tapping into my athletic side that I always knew was there during my weight loss journey. I started competing in fitness competitions in early 2017, and won my very first one. After that, I was hooked!

My weight loss and fitness journey is documented through my blog, Huff ‘n Puff to Buff ‘n Tough, which I started in April of 2013. Since then, I have created an amazing community of support, inspiration and motivation. I am currently writing a book about my transformative experiences. NOW is a major part of my journey, as I trust them to provide safe and effective products I need to stay healthy while being my best self, chasing dreams, and accomplishing my goals.
