Vegan Herb Butter

½ cup + ½ teaspoon
room temperature

shallot, finely chopped
1 teaspoon
tarragon, finely chopped
1 teaspoon
sage, finely chopped
1/8 teaspoon
salt
1/8 teaspoon
black pepper

Regular old butter has its uses, but when it comes to eating healthy there are so many better options, such as this superb Vegan Herb Butter, made with our Coconut Infusions™ Non-Dairy Butter-Flavored Organic Coconut Oil, sage, shallots, tarragon, salt and pepper.

  1. In a small pan on medium heat, sauté shallots in ½ teaspoon of butter-flavored Coconut Infusion for 2 minutes or until the shallots have caramelized.
  2. Allow the shallots to cool for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, using a whisk, whip together butter-flavored Coconut Infusion, tarragon, sage, shallot, salt, and pepper until fully incorporated.
  4. Using plastic wrap, roll mixture into a cylinder and refrigerate 1 hour.
  5. Cut slices and melt over entrée of your choice.
