Sugarless Sugar™ Caramel

½ cup
butter
½ teaspoon
vanilla extract
½ teaspoon
salt
¼ teaspoon
cinnamon
  1. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Once completely melted, stir in vanilla, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Place Sugarless Sugar™ in a separate saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir continuously. Sugar will liquefy and then caramelize very quickly.
  3. Once has turned medium amber-brown, gradually pour in the melted butter mixture while whisking vigorously.
  4. Once all of the butter mixture has been incorporated, and caramel is thick and homogeneous, add the tapioca starch, and whisk until caramel is smooth.
  5. Remove from heat and serve.
