It's the New Year and like many, you may have promised yourself that, “This is the year I get in shape! I am going to join a gym and start making my health a priority!”

Here are a few tips to help keep your Resolutions going strong:

  1. Commit to scheduling your workout in your calendar as an appointment. Having your workout scheduled can help with consistency. Even going as far to schedule your workout at the same time daily can help with adherence.
  2. Find a workout partner! By committing to not only a workout time but a workout partner can help immensely with staying on your fitness journey.
  3. Aim to do two to three strength-based workouts per week, two cardio-based workouts (rowing, biking or running) per week and one regeneration based workout (yoga, mobility or flexibility) per week. This will help to keep your workouts interesting as well a give you a great functional body for both indoors and out.
  4. Focus on eating wholesome, nutrition foods and snacks throughout the day. If you don’t have much time to meal prep, NOW’s made it simple with their 50 Twenty-Minute Recipes ebook.  Convenience is key here!
