Hi! I’m a boxer and trainer out of Long Beach, New York. I began my combat career as a kickboxer, remaining undefeated. I also have experience competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA. After years of martial arts experience, I gravitated toward boxing. During my amateur boxing career, I won the ringmasters tournament (formally golden gloves) and also won the award for “athlete of the tournament.”
Outside of the ring, I’m a passionate trainer. I received a business degree at Hofstra University. I also received a master’s degree after achieving a 4.0 average at Hofstra University. My master’s degree is in Sports Science, with a concentration in both Exercise Physiology and Strength and Conditioning. I enjoy training all types of clients from those new to exercise, to professional athletes. I also have experience with populations including: Parkinson's, cardiac, cerebral palsy, obesity, cancer, youth, and seniors.
Over the years I have battled with understanding the importance of taking care of my body. I have been put in situations where I had to cut a lot of weight within hours of competition and have taken unhealthy measures to do so. Over the last year, I have taken an improved understanding of nutrition from not just the food and vitamins I put on my body, but how to proactively preserve my skin by using cleaner skincare products, like those from NOW®. I also love diffusing NOW’s essential oils, which have become a lifesaver in the mornings and even in between training sessions to help calm my nerves and help me focus on my daily tasks as well.
