My name is Ryan Giuliano. I grew up running local 5ks with my family and fell in love with endurance sports. I attended the University of Illinois in Champaign and ran for the cross country /track and field teams. While attending, my roommate hooked me on the sport of triathlon. With no swim background, learning a new skill is what drove me to find success.
In 2013, my wife and I both qualified for the Ironman World Championships and have not looked back ever since. Each year, we have qualified and raced in Hawaii (2018 will be the 6th consecutive year) as a way to celebrate our anniversary as well as test our limits in the sport of triathlon.
I am currently gearing up for my 15th and 16th Ironman at Ironman Wisconsin in September and Ironman World Championships in October. My long-term goal has always been to be the top amateur finisher for my age group with my current top finishes of 3rd and 4th. With the help of NOW®, I am excited to have the perfect lead in and recovery for both races!
