Hi I'm Emily! I’m a professional soccer player for the Chicago Red Stars, and 2018 is my rookie season as a professional player. When I was younger I was always considered the "Dare-devil" kid, the one who would be willing to do anything in sports. I played basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer. In high school I played on the travel soccer team as a goalkeeper, which is what I am still doing today! I know many people think we are crazy!
My first step to becoming a professional soccer player was playing at a high level in college. I went to the University of California-Berkeley and Majored in Sports Business and Marketing. I graduated in three-and-a-half years in order to enter the 2018 Draft. I loved the experience studying and playing at the top public university in the World. I gained so much knowledge on life, and about myself, sport and nutrition.
I am HUGE into sports and nutrition, so finding NOW has been a huge part of my regimen. I am a foodie, food "blogger" (@eboydsfood) and I love to help others who struggle with how to eat healthy on a daily basis. I have a passion to help those who want to eat more nutritious foods and be physically fit, so that's what I share via my food page.
