Serves 8

Ingredients
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 egg, beaten
½ cup ground NOW Real Food® Flax Seeds*
½ cup dry bread crumbs
½ cup chopped onion
1 cup skim milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
½ tsp. celery salt
¼ tsp. ground thyme
¼ cup ketchup
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
¼ cup ketchup
  1. In a large bowl, combine beef, milk, ground flax, bread crumbs, onion, egg. Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic, mustard, celery salt, and thyme. Mix well.
  2. Pat mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  3. Spread ketchup over top of loaf.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 ½ hours.
  5. Remove from oven and let stand 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from pan and place on platter to serve.
