NOW Foods Again Named a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace for 2011
NOW Foods is honored to be named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces for 2011, the second year in a row NOW has received this award. The Top Workplace program was created by the Chicago Tribune to recognize businesses in the Chicago area that exemplify the highest levels of employee satisfaction related to the direction of the company, execution of its mission, and working conditions. The Top Workplace program is noteworthy for the fact that 100% of the information used to determine winning companies is taken from the survey responses of actual employees.
Surveys are conducted by Workplace Dynamics LLC, the Chicago Tribune’s research partner, and cover overall employee satisfaction and confidence, safety and working conditions, compensation and benefits, job security, employee turnover, management, ethics, communications, and technology.
“Given that the Chicago area is home to tens of thousands of businesses, this is a particularly gratifying honor”, said Al Powers, NOW Foods’ President. “Our employees’ passionate engagement in achieving our mission to provide value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives has made NOW the leading brand of nutritional supplements sold in health food stores.”
Since 1968 NOW Foods mission has been to provide value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives, and this mission extends to our valued work force as well. We’re truly grateful to be able to provide such an outstanding work environment for our employees.
