Sesame Seed Dressing
This dressing may be spooned over steamed vegetables, green salads or used as a dipping sauce for skewered fish or poultry.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups.
|1/2 cup NOW Real Food® Organic Coconut Oil*|
|1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Sesame Seeds*|
|1/4 cup slivered almonds|
|1 tablespoon Ellyndale Foods™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil*|
|2 tablespoons tamari sauce|
|1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar|
|1/4 teaspoon ground ginger|
|1/4 teaspoon salt|
- Put coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat and sauté sesame seeds and almonds until light brown.
- Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- As the dressing sits, the oil will separate to the top and the sesame and almonds will sink to the bottom, so stir just before using.
