Spiced Nut and Seed Mix

Adapted from Natural Solutions

Makes 2 1/2 cups

1 tablespoon melted butter
1 tablespoon Ellyndale Organics™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil*
1 tablespoon NOW Real Food® Organic Agave Nectar*
1 1/2 teaspoons cumin
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup NOW Real Food® Walnuts*
1 cup NOW Real Food® Almonds*
1/2 cup NOW Real Food® Pumpkin Seeds*
1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Sunflower Seeds*
2 tablespoons NOW Real Food® Flax Seeds*
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, olive oil, agave, and spices.
  3. Cook on low heat for one minute.
  4. Add nuts and seeds; coat well.
  5. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet.
  6. Roast 5 minutes, or until nuts are golden.
