Out of this World Vegetarian Chili (Melanie Nisbet)
|1 - 15 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained|
|2 garlic cloves, minced|
|½ each: red, yellow and green peppers, diced|
|½ package NOW Real Food® T.S.P. Granules*|
|2 teaspoons chili powder|
|2 teaspoons cumin|
|1 teaspoon oregano|
|1 teaspoon cocoa powder|
|Few drops liquid hot sauce|
- Mix all ingredients in a Dutch oven; simmer on stove for 1-2 hours. Can also be made in a Crock-Pot, cooked on low for 6 hours.
- Ladle into bowls and top with shredded cheese, chopped onions and sour cream if desired.
