Sesame Seed Dressing

This dressing may be spooned over steamed vegetables, green salads or used as a dipping sauce for skewered fish or poultry.

Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

1/2 cup NOW Real Food® Organic Coconut Oil*
1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Sesame Seeds*
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tablespoon Ellyndale Organics™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil*
2 tablespoons tamari sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
  1. Put coconut oil in a small saucepan over medium-low heat and sauté sesame seeds and almonds until light brown.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients. 
  4. As the dressing sits, the oil will separate to the top and the sesame and almonds will sink to the bottom, so stir just before using.
