Rice Crispy Peanut Butter Balls
This kid-friendly recipe makes a healthy, anytime treat. It can be customized with your favorite healthy ingredients, such as sunflower seeds, almonds, walnuts, raisins, or dates.
|1/2 cup natural peanut butter)|
|1/3 cup NOW Organic Agave Nectar*|
|1/2 cup chopped NOW Walnuts*|
|1/2 teaspoon NOW Organic Vanilla Extract*|
|1/2 teaspoon cinnamon|
|2 cups rice cereal|
|1/4 cup NOW White Chia Meal*|
|1/2 cup NOW Almond Flour*|
|Optional: NOW Unsweetened Shredded Coconut*, enough to coat peanut butter balls|
*NOW products available at your local health food store
1. Mix together peanut butter, sweetener, nuts, vanilla, cinnamon, and chia meal or seeds.
2. Add rice cereal.
3. Wet hands or rub hands with cooking oil (to prevent sticking) and form mixture into small balls.
4. Roll balls into other toppings of your choice, such as almond flour, or shredded coconut.
5. Refrigerate or freeze and enjoy!
