Raw Chocolate Sesame Cookies
Adapted from Raw Food Health Watch
These cookies are a nutritious way to satisfy your taste for something sweet.
|1 cup dates, pitted|
|1/2 cup NOW Real Food® Pecans*|
|... or NOW Real Food® Walnuts*|
|1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Unsweetened Shredded Coconut*|
|1 tbsp raw cacao|
|1 tsp NOW Real Food® Organic Vanilla Extract*|
|1/4 cup NOW Real Food® Sesame Seeds*|
- Leave sesame seeds aside, and place rest of the ingredients into a food processor and blend well.
- Form the mixture into bite-sized balls and roll to cover with sesame seeds.
- Flatten down balls until they take form of your desired cookie shape.
- Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours.
