Date Nut Bars

This amazingly simple and delicious recipe makes a great on-the-go breakfast bar or an accompaniment to afternoon tea.

Makes 16 bars

Ingredients
1 cup (about 6 ounces) halved and pitted dates
1 cup (3 1/2 ounces) NOW Real Food® Raw Pecan Halves & Pieces*
1 cup NOW Real Food® Rolled Oats*
1/16 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon NOW Real Food® Vanilla Extract*
  1. Preheat oven to 350˚.
  2. Line an 8x8-inch pan with foil or parchment paper.
  3. Place all ingredients in a food processor.
  4. Process until pieces are mixed well and dough sticks together.
  5. Press into pan.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes on the center oven rack.
  7. Cool before cutting into squares.
