Raw Food Breakfast (and Healthy Snack)
| Ingredients |
| 8 dates |
| 1 cup buckwheat groats |
| 2 soft pears |
| 1 apple coarsely diced |
| 2 Tablespoons NOW Real Food® Organic Shredded Coconut* |
| ½ cup mixed seeds and nuts such as NOW Real Food® Sunflower Seeds* |
| 2 Tabelspoons gogi berries or raisins |
| 1 Tablespoon NOW Real Food® Organic Flax Seeds* |
| Cinnamon to taste |
- In a large bowl, cover buckwheat groats and dates with water and soak overnight at room temperature.
- Soak mixed seeds, nuts, gogi berries/raisins in water overnight in a separate bowl at room temperature.
- Drain buckwheat and dates, reserving 1cup of liquid.
- Blend reserved liquid, buckwheat, and dates together with cut up pears and apple.
- Top with coconut, mixed seeds and nuts, gogi berries/raisins, flax seed, and cinnamon.
