Job Description:
Picks customer orders within Pick-to-Lite system, or manually, with the majority of the work being manually picking. Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.  Inserts items into containers, using appropriate packing material base for bottle type and order size. Checks orders, processes orders and monitors inventory of finished goods by utilizing host system. Uses hand truck to move shipments from upper mezzanine packing/staging area to shipping dock.

Picks unlabelled products using order picker truck and brought to PL area. Uses hand truck to move shipments from PL packing area to shipping dock. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications.  Moves or transports finished product, material or supplies to other departments by utilizing hand jacks, lift carts, etc. Performs additional duties as needed, such as assisting. Pulls product on pallets that are ready to be labeled with a lift jack to the label line.  Packs label products into master cases for shipping. Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers for packing items and replenishes supplies when needed. Ability to move pallets up to 55#.

Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Stores products on a daily basis in bins, pallets, shelves, racks or in refrigerator according to identifying information such as product item number, size, or type of product. Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on product, CTNS, out-of-stock boards, etc. Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. RECEIVING WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Supervises all receiving, checks and documents any damage to or pest contamination of received items, and documents shortages. Prepares receiving reports, shipping documents, bills of lading, and returned goods authorizations; distributes various documents retaining a copy in most cases. Discards unusable products and records these discards. Supervises all stocking, storage and rotation of finished goods, bulk items and packing supplies. Rotates freezer stock for infestation control, and obtain outside storage and refrigeration as needed. Plans layout of warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored. Supervises taking of all bulk and finished goods inventories, listing all items overstocked and discontinued. Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems. Monitors the quality of the products being labeled, packed and verifies job tickets to ensure that the correct packaging is being done.  Closes all batch tickets using Oracle, fills out line clearance sheets, and places labels with correct product to be labeled. Processes orders to be shipped in a timely manner.  Creates batch tickets when needed. Performs periodic checks for correct count, labels, lot number and expiration date, and that all instructions on the Bill of Materials/batch production tickets are being followed. Works with QC, operators and packers to ensure that no quality errors are made and that only product meeting specifications and quality standards are packed. Enters required information into Oracle.  Once information is verified/completed, closes the batch ticket. Communicates and works with sales regarding emails for orders, labels, status on orders, etc. Reports all quality issues to the department lead or supervisor. Pulls product ready to be labeled on pallets with a lift jack to the label line. Packs label products into master cases for shipping.  Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers for packing items. Rewinds, picks and puts away pressure sensitive rolls when necessary.
