Assists in the set-up of machines and the adding of bulk to totes. Performs sanitation of machines, totes, and other areas of production department. Identifies potential quality problems and notifies machine operators. Performs other tasks such as hand packing, bulk packing, displays, or related duties. Must be able to lift 60#.

Sets up and activates machine and observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Cleans and assembles equipment on line according to standard operating procedures. Performs minor machine maintenance. Assists coworkers to set up machine, and to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished product.  Must be able to lift 60#.

Responsible for integrity of specific work area regarding attention to detail, material and paperwork accuracy and all elements associated with blending or the specific work center assigned. Accepts ownership for all safety, quality and efficiency expectations of area assigned.  Learns and applies all policies and procedures for this position, including safety rules, good manufacturing practices, work rules, weight error charts, and sanitization practices. Operates all equipment in accordance with established safety policies. Ability to effectively train / communicate professionally with all departments / staff. PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
 
Job Description:
Draws up production line level schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts, operational efficiencies, warehouse utilization and material availability. Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, equipment usage, tools, and human resource requirements. Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times. Plans sequence of process, assembly, packaging, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.  Coordinate with production supervisors, supply chain planners and management to prioritize production runs.  Expedites operations that impact OOS list and adjusts schedules to meet unplanned sales demands. Prepares 72 hour schedule for each work center to insure maximum efficiency in meeting corporate KPIs related to optimal use of equipment, manpower, space and cost. Inputs data, prepares reports and charts to support metrics required for management team. Reviews all data to insure integrity (including Safety, Quality and NPS information).
