LAB & ELECTRONIC INSTRUMENT TECH
 
Job Description:
Supports, maintains, calibrates and repairs all laboratory analytical instruments including High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectroscopy instruments and their operating software. Rebuilds to OEM specifications all laboratory analytical instruments including High Performance Liquid Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, Gas Chromatography/ Mass Spectroscopy, and atomic absorption instruments purchased at auction. Actively participates in selling surplus equipment for profit. Interacts with analytical chemists to learn requirements and expectations of instrument performance, and conducts training on use of equipment for performing specific analytical testing techniques. Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) or Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or technical school; minimum of two years analytical instrument service experience and/or training with HPLC and GC; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to lift 60#. Pre-employment testing required: drug screen, physical, functional, background check.

MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II
 
Job Description:
Performs maintenance work throughout the plant in order to repair production machines, fabricate parts, and rebuild equipment.  Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment problems. Dismantles, repairs and reassembles complex equipment. Operates production equipment to check work, as required. Occasionally performs work in other areas such as building maintenance.  Assists Engineering in installation of new equipment. Lifting up to 60# required.
