Leads the overall direction, management, operations and service functions of the Central Distribution Center. Maximizes productivity and expenses while modeling NOW’s core values. Develops strategies and objectives and leads a team in executing these strategies and objectives. Provides senior leadership to ensure to ensure key deliverables in safety, quality, productivity and customer service are obtained while instilling a collaborative work environment. Manages all aspects of the DC’s financial, operational, people and process and service related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains. Participates in strategic and business process improvement projects. Evaluates the effectiveness of and recommends alternatives for work methods, procedures, controls and staffing to achieve accurate and timely movement and processing of product. Promotes continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, delivery and cost performance through NPS and leading positive change. Creates an employee-centered workplace that follows NOW’s mission and demonstrates care and compassion for all employees. Ensures DC is optimally organized to provide excellent customer service to customers by ensuring all orders are delivered on-time and damage free. Manages departmental inventory control by following system cycle count procedures, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring product flows by FIFO process. Oversees the product transfers to satellite distribution centers and maintains customer service levels by managing the inventory flow process to the facilities. Manages all DC Key Performance Indicators.
