Job Description:
Assists in the set-up of machines and the adding of bulk to totes. Performs sanitation of machines, totes, and other areas of production department. Identifies potential quality problems and notifies machine operators. Performs other tasks such as hand packing, bulk packing, displays, or related duties. Must be able to lift 60#.

PACKAGING OPERATOR I
 
Job Description:
Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirement; sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template. Sets up and activates machine and observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction. Cleans and assembles equipment on line according to standard operating procedures. Performs minor machine maintenance. Assists coworkers to set up machine, and to stack, mark, pack, and transport finished product.  Must be able to lift 60#.

PROCESSING LEAD PERSON
 
Job Description:
Directly oversees processing employees, ensuring compliance with all production procedures, policies, government regulations, and company health and safety rules, while maintaining quality standards.  Performs basic supervisory duties as directed by department manager, when supervisor is absent from department. Reviews and verifies all of employees' paperwork before turning in to Quality Control Department for approval.  Closes production record reports and informs inventory control personnel of any raw material discrepancies.  Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and makes deviation decisions when products are out of specification. Analyzes and resolves work problems and grievances.  Assists employees in troubleshooting and solving work problems. Develops and/or assists in writing and updating of Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks within department, with direction and review of department supervisor or manager. Must be able to lift 60#.

Job Description:
Assists in the sanitation of the plant, including sanitation of rooms, machines, equipment, totes and all other areas within the building. Performs sanitation related tasks including but not limited to scrubbing, mopping of the floors, walls and equipment; removing trash; using the proper chemicals / equipment and all other related duties. Operates electric pallet jack, forklift and man-lift to assist in performing the sanitation duties.
