After an extensive evaluation process based entirely on employee feedback, NOW Foods was honored as one of the 100 companies voted to be Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces for 2010. Within the medium sized companies with 250-999 employees, NOW Foods was ranked #10. Conducted by Workplace Dynamics in partnership with the Chicago Tribune, Top Workplace is a one-of-a-kind program which recognizes those businesses who exemplify the highest levels of employee satisfaction related to the direction of the company, execution and work conditions.
What sets this program apart from others is that 100% of the information used to determine winners is derived completely from employee survey responses. The employee survey process is extensive, and many areas of the company are thoroughly evaluated in order to select the most deserving recipients. The criteria used to determine a Top Workplace includes overall confidence and satisfaction, safety and working conditions, compensation and benefits, job security, turnover, management, ethics, communication, technology and more.
This distinction comes just months after NOW was honored by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) as one of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies for the third consecutive year. As a company committed to achieving its mission of providing value in products and services that empower people to lead healthier lives, it remains evident that NOW Foods is an organization that regards employees as one of their most valuable assets.
