Pterostilbene is a naturally occurring polyphenol that is closely related to Resveratrol and has a similar biological activity. Pterostilbene, however, is more readily absorbed and utilized by the body. Emerging research suggests that Pterostilbene may support cardiovascular health, may help to maintain proper cell cycle regulation, and can promote a healthy response to cellular stress. NOW uses all-trans Pterostilbene, which has been clinically evaluated for its superior bioavailability, plus 250 mg trans-Resveratrol is added as a natural complement to Pterostilbene's metabolic activities.*
